Shhhhhhhhh? Wait for the right moment.

Martyrdom is the ultimate witness. If faith in Jesus Christ mandates that we share the gift in order to keep it, martyrdom is necessarily never "off the table" in the life of a Christian. Christ's call to Evangelism is the same as His exhortation to pick up our cross daily in order to follow Him. The Dictatorship of Relativism seduces us to think that no quibbling detail warrants risking our very life. But if we are ever to be able to give our full witness to faith in Christ, we must first be able to conceive of that possibility in our minds.

Jesus's own march to the cross was built in a crescendo of uncomfortable witness to Truth. When the Master healed, He frequently held His charges to the "Messianic Secret," particularly as revealed in the Gospel of Mark. This cap on Evangelization only emphasizes the importance of God's timing.

Pray, as Jesus warned Peter, "not to be put to the test," but with full knowledge that a pop quiz may be imminent, according to the Will of The Father.
