COALITIONS IN EVIL

Contrary to perpetuated belief, individual persons are not evil. Try as we may, we cannot put a face on the abstraction.

The Christ already conquered evil, but He did not clear it from the earth. With assent to Him I can CONTROL its influence, but only in myself. No matter how often I succumb to sin, I can turn to Him. But my sincerity must be pure. It is impossible to truly repent without specific allocution of my transgression, complete sorrow and the intent not to sin again. Metanoia must be TOTAL. If I "secretly" plan for my next foray into iniquity I have not repented. Like infinity this concept is mind-boggling to grasp. However, if I continue striving, effects of evil in my life fall away... very gradually. This is personal spiritual growth. It happens incrementally.

God's Law is Supreme and it is written in Nature. No law that mankind issues can be valid if it contradicts His Law. The little American Experiment laid down a framework. Our Founders did not "get it perfect" but they DID strive for perfection corporately. They called on Creation's God for Wisdom to craft a system to protect rights given to us by Him.

When two or more people attempt to atone for corporate sin - transgressions committed against God by the complicity of all of us combined - without the intent of true repentance it is an even more grievous affront to God and His Perfect Principle. Remember the enigma? If personal spiritual growth completely depends on INTENT - the striving for perfect union with God's Will - the moment two persons collude to continue in sin, repentance is voided. If
there is no true reconciliation with God's Law attempted, HE does not supply the incremental healing.

Habitual sin (even sin of omission) blinds us to the very awareness of sin. It also dulls our perceptions to the nuance of sin. Without complete submission to Truth, however imperfectly we currently perceive it, we do not receive conviction by the Holy Spirit to realize right judgment to even comprehend what may be lesser according to God's standards. The magnitude of the downward spiral becomes ever more viscous.

The fallacy in the "Anybody But Obama" mantra is that it incorrectly assumes a person is evil. We are battling invisible forces of evil and their manifestation in human BEHAVIOR. We cannot fight evil with impure intent, which is itself, evil. Anything less than striving for God's Perfect Truth renders us apart from Him with no hope of recovery.
