Truth Dawning

to Marlo Thomas)

"No child should die in the dawn of life."

Various cancers and childhood diseases claim the lives of children in the morning of life, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis has done wonderful work toward saving this segment of humanity.

Your position, Ms. Thomas, favoring the so-called right of a woman to have absolute dominion over her pre-born child, is incongruous with the noble mission of St. Jude. Your outspoken behavior, demanding an ungodly freedom for a woman to harm her own offspring, does not befit a representative for the legacy of Danny Thomas. The resulting scandal does grave harm to both the Catholic Church and to a worthy charity.

Therefore, on behalf of the countless children who may be deprived of deserving support, due to your duplicitous example, we ask that you would voluntarily disassociate yourself as the “celebrity” spokesperson of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
