Tube Heads
by Carl V. Bibeau
Politically Correct Speech may become mandatory if the Red candidate is elected November 4th. But wait. The Pink candidate is the author of McCain-Feingold. Just to be safe, Americans had better exercise all their pent up Freedom of Speech prior to Inauguration Day in January. The "wealth" will soon be redistributed.
Either guy will probably still appear on Saturday Night Live to maintain the illusion of Free Speech. But increasingly, freedom to lampoon will be a privilege of the "professionals." The rest of the population, "amateurs" like yourself, will have to be satisfied with the vicarious breach of PC on TV, because you won't be allowed to practice it in the streets.
Oh, and if your mush-for-brains self could possibly have missed the news that your analog signal will be gone post-February 17th, not to worry. The government will soon be canvassing for the politically incorrect who dared not to have a functioning receiver in the household. They won't stand for an uninterrupted conduit of indoctrination for very long. [The Entitlement-minded thought the "coupon" offer was a benevolent gesture from the "massa"] If you're not voluntarily addicted, Max Headroom will show up in your home anyway. Don't forget, the privacy of sex between consenting adults is sacrosanct, but Non-Tube-Heads will be ostracized like McCarthy never dreamed.
(btw, your welfare cell phone for "emergencies" is also in the mail)
Have you ever wondered why, though Seinfeld in syndication repeats all the episodes, ad nauseum, the daring conscience-raising episode on homosexual "tolerance" is never aired?

Disclaimer:
Before I went "Cold Turkey on the Glass Teat," I FINALLY saw one syndication rerun of the Seinfeld episode which lampooned references to homosexuals.
I have watched Seinfeld reruns on a regular basis for years and had seen all of the episodes in the entire SERIES at least a half dozen times, but up until then, had not seen that particular episode repeated...
