What is "News" in the United States?

Does a case about the qualifications of the President-elect to serve in the office of President merit media coverage? The Justices of the U.S. Supreme Court consider the requirements of the U.S. Constitution important enough, and the credentials of Barack Obama doubtful enough, to have scheduled a conference for December 5th. But the "Mainstream Media" is A.W.O.L. as the informers of We, The People.

All the "major" News outlets have neglected to cover this story!
