A new media initiative by a group of citizen-journalists reports
Rep. Nathan Deal, R-Ga., has written to President Obama asking him to prove his eligibility to hold the office of president.

According to the Post and Email, "This forever changes the public discourse."

"What does this mean?" the site asks. "This is probably the first time in 233 years of American history that a sitting member of the House of Representatives has officially challenged the legitimacy of a sitting president … one full year into his term."

The website said Deal's chief of staff, Todd Smith, confirmed Deal
sent a letter "to Barack Hussein Obama requesting him to prove his eligibility for the office of president of the United States of America."
