No American can ever forget the sight of muslims cheering while they were watching television replays of the Twin Towers falling. We were asked to believe that not all members of islam were terrorists or *extremists* even though we witnessed their supportive behavior. We reasoned that if they were really a peaceful people they would have denounced more vocally the actions of their *zealous* brethren. Even if the immediate visceral reaction was that of satisfaction of a perceived "imperialist" bully getting his "just desserts" – if we gave them that – we expected a uniform and mounting criticism against the use of lethal force on the totally innocent victims of terrorism. After all, what sort of guilt-line-of-causation could be drawn to everyday workers or, even more removed, first responders?
We have surmised that the end-time adversary of everything holy would be an individual entity upon which we could focus our enmity and rally our defenses. What if the expected persona was not an individual at all, but a "movement?" As Catholics, we know that the Blessed Mother of our Lord is given the honor of crushing the serpent’s head. The only sinless human (who submitted completely to the Will of God) is permitted to wield the force which signifies the end of evil’s reign. It is fitting that this honor should go to the one epitomizing the feminine persona.
Because, dear Believers, the Anti-Christ is closer than you ever thought possible. Feminism is our nemesis. In our willingness to root for the underdog - the unjustly oppressed over centuries - we have lent our support to an ideology that goes against God’s order. Unquestionably, males have abused females and lorded both authority and physical stature over them in selfish defiance of God’s mandate. Woman is "mad as hell" and resigned not to take ANY of man’s crap anymore. There lies the final rebellion.
Here’s the naked distillation of Feminism:
"Without this basic right, women cannot be free,
Abortion On Demand, and without apology!"
Go back to the first paragraph and draw the analogy. The pre-born are hostages in woman’s frustration with man. Closet Feminists abide everywhere, and they are the reason abortion-on-demand is perpetuated. Even the *non-radical* sort give aid and comfort – maybe even against the better angels of their nature – to the adamant fringe. Who is the face of true womanhood today? The women who emulate Mary.
We blame our shepherds for not speaking out more boldly. We might even think they castrate themselves to mammon for the sake of a 501(c)(3). Why aren’t so-called *radical feminists* shouted down when the Colossians Scripture passage is a scheduled Reading? ... "Wives, be submissive to your husbands." No priest or shepherd DARE preach forcefully on this directive. Publicly ban Kathleen Sebelius from Communion? They can barely maintain the defense of the male, unmarried priesthood amid the constant haranguing.
Large numbers of people followed him, and of women too, who mourned and lamented for him. But Jesus turned to them and said, ‘Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep rather for yourselves and for your children. For the days will surely come when people will say, "Happy are those who are barren, the wombs that have never borne, the breasts that have never suckled!" Then they will begin to say to the mountains, "Fall on us!"; to the hills, "Cover us!" For if men use the green wood like this, what will happen when it is dry?’
Luke 23: 27-31
They said to the mountains and the rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us away from the One who sits on the throne and from the anger of the Lamb. For the Great Day of his anger has come, and who can survive it?’
